So, it's still loading. I am really trying to avoid driving to my "favorite" dealer, but this forum is so helpful, I'm almost embarrassed to be here

Have you tried a different CD slot or another CD? On mine it won't let me pop in a CD just like you did in the video. I have to go into the Disc menu -> hit the eject/ Load button once -> select the slot i have empty and it will ask me to load disc. It takes a few seconds to load and it will play on its own.

I don't have a CD changer, there's no other slot. Or there is but I don't know about it? Please tell me where I should look for it?
Yes. More than one.
Mine lets me pop it in and that's how I've always done (including the previous P!G) it. This, unfortunately, looks like a "severe case of Divots" and a trip to a dealer is inevitable
