I just checked the Cayenne. Everything works, and there's currently no error message. I guess I'll have to just monitor it and see if it comes up again...

Just for the heck of it I tested the lead contacts at the headlamp and they are getting power! Than I tested the socked by just wiring it to a power source and the bulb came on.. so it's like they do not make contact. odd. I cleaned all the contacts and nothing, than I "tweaked" the contacts in the light out a bit. Nothing Than I tried to "tweak" the contacts on the socket out again and... promptly broke one right off. Nice going bonehead. So I guess will order another socket and take up from there.

The light saga is over, the new socket solved the turn signal issues on the right, on the left a good cleaning of all the contacts and wiring/plug mod restored my high beam and city light.
The Larry was strong with this one ...
