Default Fold Mirrors Automatically?

So I have been driving my 2012 Cayenne for about 2 weeks now and have figured out most of the functions (even those pesky memory settings) but one item that I cannot seem to activate is the Power Fold Mirrors. I can do this 1-time no problem with the button on the door or key but the manual (yes, I read it) says that I can set these to automatically retract when I turn the ignition off. According to the manual, this is done via PCM by pressing CAR>OPTION>SET CAR>Vehicle Functions>Locking System> "Fold In Mirror". However, when I get to the screen where the option for "Fold in Mirror" is supposed to be it is not there.

Anyone else get this to work or is there just an error in the manual?

Perhaps a comfort setting you didn't order?

There is no doubt that you forgot to order the Comfort Control module that controls that.

I do have the comfort package and I can do everything you list above. I am asking about something different. I want the car to fold the mirrors EVERY time I turn off the ignition without me remembering to press the button. Here is the relevant link with more detail.

I'm guessing this is a misprint (perhaps something that the Panamera offers).

I seem to be having trouble explaining what I mean. I have all of the memory packages available. My mirrors do adjust as expected when I get in the car. I am talking about the entire housing for the mirror, not just the shiny part.

Yes, I can press buttons and have them fold in. Yes, the fold out automatically when the ignition goes on.

I am looking for the ability to have the side mirror housings in their entirety fold in when I turn the ignition off. The 2012 owners manual makes it appear this is possible however the associated memory does not appear in my PCM.

Hold the lock button down on the fob for a second+ when you leave the car. The mirrors will fold in after the door locks. They return upon startup.

HAHAHA,it seems that nobody understands you.
Ok, call it as you want, not sure error is the correct term. It's a feature that is available in Europe but not here for some reason...so the owners manual specify it !
So no, unfortunately you won't be able to have that gadget.
