While we're talking different SUVs, what do you guys think of the ML63 AMG? It has my attention at the moment... My local Merc dealer says they can place orders now, and manufacturing will begin in January... I'm thinking about it.

Does anyone have any experience with a 2010+LR4? Debating between that or RRS. It appears the 5.0 V8 is worth getting in the 2010+ models. Warranty is up on the Piggie in a few months and I'm not that daring.
Why considering a LR? I need something more reliable!!
And I hate the Pig. Seriously, LRs look so cool I might drive all over my neighbors lawn!
Thoughts appreciated!

Right on...I need to get out and drive some. Not much is very interesting, though. No way will I venture naked on another P!g - especially this lemon. It will be gone by 3/11/12. Not that I'm counting or anything.

I have an LR3 and the 4 has gotten a lot more RR inside but they are still very different. LR4 is much larger and will hold more stuff. You sit up a little more in the LR4-the RRS interior surrounds you and is more sedan-like inside. LR4 is def a little more truck-like, better visibility than the RRS. You will probably think less about getting the LR4 off-road and dirty too-just my 2 cents.

Too add to Franklin's comments, they also revised the LR3's suspension geometry for the LR4, so steering, tracking and handling have improved considerably.
I too loved my LR3 - enclosed pick-up, comfortable yet very rugged interior, great off-road, and is unbelievably functional/roomy for a 190" SUV. It was, however, a British gentleman farmer's leather-clad tractor. The LR4 changes all that, and I think it is an incredible value. It is a truck, however, and does not come close to handling like the Cayenne.
