Default I love my P!G

So... we have an older one, '06. The extended warranty is just about gone. Less than 30 days left, mileage is close. Been thinking it might be time to bail and find another.

Until yesterday.

Wife shoots me a text "coolant low light is on"
And it peed itself in the parking lot, large puddle.

Could it be?
Might I have won the warranty lottery?
Yes!

It seems as though we are the proud owner of a very cooperative Cayenne. The P!G was good enough to puke it's guts under warranty.
Sweet!

How could we let go of such a thoughtful piece of German (cough) engineering?

I love my P!G

Remember: It's OK to love your P!G...
Just don't LOVE your P!G

It's a strange thing to wish for – hoping a big breakdown happens soon.

Good for you.

Lucky you Mark. I was hoping mine would do it before the CPO was up but alas, it didn't. I suspect it will be a spring project for me.

How many miles on your's, I've got about 62k mi.

If you hit the warranty lottery, I hit the opposite. The short story is ... my extended (Porsche) warranty was up on Nov 2nd on my 2005 CTT (45k miles). I do love the car!! On Nov 7th my power steering pump blew PS fluid all over the floor of my garage. I bring it to the dealer. They call me to tell me it is not covered. They tell me to call National and take it up with them. National tells me that the dealer has to file a "good will" application. The dealer says they did this. They turn down the application and offer no assistance whatsoever. Not even a 25 dollar coupon. Point is I have had 6 Porsches, belong to the PCA club for 13 years, Club raced for many years, and am a National Instructor. So no good will whatsoever for 5 days out of warranty. I am paying my bill tomorrow and picking up the car ... going down the street and trading it in for another brand. I am sorry to say that after 13 years of P car ownership .. they disgust me.

I appreciate your concern sir, but isn't that rather personal?

a man's shaft bearings are between a man and his P!G
shame on you

they are real
and they are spectacular

too far?

^^^ Ha. No ... you haven't even 'scratched the surface' .... Considering the sequence of events here ... maybe you should have an in-depth discussion about Cardan Shaft failure within earshot of the patient in the near future ....
