Default Any oil change shop for Cayenne in DC?

hi, any recommendation is appreciated. I just don't like the dealers. Wondering if Jiffy Lube works. Thanks for your help.

Jiffy Lube? Please no!

If you look on the forum, am sure you will find DIY instructions for oil change. Should not be difficult

Jiffy Lube? ACKKKK!

My friendly local mechanic likes to tell stories about cars he gets in that were "serviced" at Jiffy Lube.

He had a 911 in a few weeks ago.. they used a Chinese or Indian made oil filter that simply collapsed in the filter housing, circulating bits of cardboard through the engine. That was an interesting and expensive repair for an owner who saved $100 on an oil change.

If you don't like dealers (and I don't use them for stuff like oil changes) - ask around at your next PCA meeting about who the reliable independents in your area are. I'm sure members have some they'd suggest in the Fairfax area. If an independent is too much money, I think you own the wrong car.

Default Curry Brothers

I recommend Curry's Auto Service, they have six locations in the area now. I've been going to them since they only had one small middle of nowhere location. I've taken four porsches and an audi there. Good guys

How about "Autothority" in Fairfax, VA?

Curry's, IMA Motorsport, Intersport, or ASG are all good independents in or near Fairfax. Autothority no longer exists (although the name was bought by someone).

Check your local PCA clubs web site, they may have a list of independent Porsche shops on it.
But Please, don't take it to JL.
