Main headlight shaking while driving

Vehicle Type: Cayenne/Cayenne S/Cayenne Turbo
Concerns: Main headlight mount.
Situation: Main headlight shaking while driving.
Action Required: In the event of a complaint, the front fastening screws of both main
headlight mounts must be secured with screw locking agent.
Part Nos.: 955.631.052.00
Fastening screw for new main headlight mount (only if necessary)

N 910.427.01
Fastening screw for old main headlight mount (only if necessary)


Tools: Torque wrench 0-30 Nm (0 - 22 ftlb.)
Procedure: Securing front fastening screws for the main headlight mount with screw locking agent.1 Remove both wheel housing liners according to → 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner.
2 Remove front apron according to → 631519 Removing and installing front apron.
3 Remove main headlight according to → 941519 Removing and installing main headlight.
Information

There were two different main headlight mounts used, which must be tightened using the prescribed fastening screws:
old main headlight mount with Part Nos. 955.631.041.00/955.631.042.00
new main headlight mount with Part Nos. 955.631.041.01/955.631.042.01/955.631.041.02/955.631.042.02

4 Unscrew fastening screw 1 ( -Item 1- ) on the main headlight mount, wet with medium-tight screw locking agent (Loctite) and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.
Figure 1
→ Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)
5 Unscrew fastening screw 2 ( -Item 2- ) on the main headlight mount, wet with medium-tight screw locking agent (Loctite) and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.
6 Install and set both main headlights according to → 941519 Removing and installing main headlight.
7 Install front apron according to → 631519 Removing and installing front apron.
8 Install wheel housing liner according to → 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner.
9 Ignition "On".
10 Carry out a function check on the headlights.
11 Ignition "Off".

Working Time: 94 14 14 00:
Securing main headlight mount
160 TU

This includes:
Removing and installing wheel-housing liner,
removing and installing front apron,
removing and installing main headlight,
adjusting main headlight.
