Default Nokian Hakkapeliitta R SUV Tires or WR-G2 SUV?

Hey Everyone,

So i know it's a little early for most people to be thinking winter, where i live the winters are relentless so i always need to be ready 2 months in advance.

Anyway, the tires i'm trying to choose between are the Nokian WR-G2:

And the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R tires:

They both seem like really good tires (judging from some of the other posts in this forum) but i'm at a loss as to which one i should get. If anyone has had any experience driving these tires on a Cayenne Turbo or something comparable please let me know, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I used WR's last winter and was happy with them. My wife's rear wheel drive Mercedes have been shod with the Hakkapeliita's for the last six winters or so. The WR is more of a performance tire that handles better on bare pavement while the Hakk does better in deep snow and unplowed roads. Both beat the hell out of all season tires. Where do you live? If you have mostly plowed roads and do high speeds, the WR is the ticket.
