2011 and up Cayenne LED license plate light conversion
Whoever is interested in swapping out there license plate light to LED, I found the company that make the conversion kit, Racing Dash Enterprise part # 5604472W. You can order it from ECS Tuning http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/5604472W/ES2093774/
free shipping, no error code and 1 year warranty. The led conversion kit look alot better than the stock bulbs or the regular error free led bulbs.
2011 and up Cayenne share the same part number with 2010 and up VW Golf/GTI (oem part number 1K8943021)
The link below have the oem led for the VW, need resistor to work on our Cayenne.

Racing Dash led conversion kit is lot cheaper and come with the resistor.
My brother in law have the 2010 VW GTI, his factory license plate light housings are exactly the same as my Cayenne.
He already have the Racing Dash LED conversion kit on his VW.
I test fit it on my Cayenne and work.
I will post pictures in couple of day when I receive my LED conversion kit from ECS Tuning (order was placed this morning).

Received my Racing Dash LED license plate light from ECS Tuning this morning. Took me about a hour to install. Here are some pictures of the stock lighting, regular error free led lighting, and the Racing Dash LED license plate light conversion kit.

IMO the standard license plate light looks so cheap on my Cayenne. These days lots of vehicles come stardard with LED license plate light (BMW, Lexus, VW and etc.), Just dont understand why Porsche did make it standard equipment.

Just my opinion, but the LED's, especially the ones with the bluish tint, look kind of silly; a solution searching for a problem. TEHO.
