Key to doing this job: Ignore the official instructions in the Porsche technical manual. It's nowhere as complicated as described. Lots of extraneous steps in there.

Don't waste your time removing the Y pipe. Just take off the 2 bellows, unplug the air flow sensors on the 2 sides, and unhook the air cleaner boxes.
