Default No air coming out of rear vents

I took some fools out to lunch on a rather warm day today and they were complaining that no air was coming out of the vents in the rear. I told them to pull their heads out of their ***** and turn the dial to on. Still no worky. I have no idea how to diagnose this. Front vents work fine.

Anyone?

Year/model? Hope under warranty. rear a/c is a tough fix. Has it ever worked? on my Beta model, had no usable amount of flow ever. On Tit.S has always been strong flow. Was told by tech that common to have ducts crimped from blower to rear vents. Take to dealer my suggestion.

Do you have 4 zone? Kind of assuming since you mentioned rear dials. The rear blower in my Touareg stopped working last year. It turned out to be some resistor in the rear blower motor. Got it fixed under warranty. It's located in the rear luggage compartment.

LTC - you are a dirty old man. You too Mad Fox. We all knew Pops was the epitome of DOM (and Divot wannabe). Putting the Pig in P!G Pen... ; )

Not to put this thread back on topic... but: I am lazily not R-ingTFM or S-ingTFF, but is there a fix for getting AIR flowing when one does not have dual-zone A/C? Is the crimping issue the same for either setup? Could I route the tubo-charger lines to the rear vents somehow? Or the coolant pipes for that matter?

Don't get me started on the door/pillar vents that do abvolutely nothing...

Silence, wannabe! Us menfolk are talking about cars.

I have to go now and Google DOM for more hilarity. I hope it's not Defense of Marriage or I'll be pissed.

At least I figured out R-ingTFM and S-ingTFF.

I also just figured out that calling someone a Divot wannabe in this forum may be a thinly veiled insult, to both the wannabe and to Divot himself! I hope his junk gets so sweaty from the non-functioning rear blowers he has to flash some kids selling lemonade.
