And I have no idea what a BM-list is, but anything 'BM' coming from comrade, truly scares me...
BTW, I see your current avatar and think: Dr. Cornel West, during some stint in the Swedish Military... merged with David Crowder!
(do i still get your beautiful '11 CTT in 4.5 years...??)

Rest assured, it is I, who is more offended. Nothing offends that Deviant (that's what his username really stands for). Nothing!
The "M" in BM stands for Movement. Figure out the rest![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
P.S. If Lewis will be interested in giving you that P!G after he's done with it, you know where to find him

If you only have a 2 zone system, I found that if you close the vents on the middle of the front dashboard, air will blow fairly hard out of the center rear vents. It's an "ok" compromise since the driver and front passenger still have their own side vents.

After S-ingTFF extensively, I see many references to LTC never, ever, EVER owning a Cayenne. Ever. Just ask his attorney. Or Larry's Cougar-widow. Or Dr. W. (or Dr. W's widow's attorney for that matter).
And the mere mention of owning another, er, his first CTT would cause PurpleSaurus Rex to spew out his coolant pipes, all over Divot's Tit.S and Pops' hairy tennis legs. Or something like that.
...besides, I'm pretty sure I asked first.
Rock on.

Pretty sure she has a whole new appreciation for the theme to Baywatch, playing at Volume 11, and being unable to shut it off ...
Or so I heard

Wow. Was traveling this week and get back to check on the thread (and experiment with the pig) and this thing got butchered.
Anyhow this is an 04 CTT. Not under warranty. I will try shutting all of the vents up front and see what happens. I will also check for that fuse.
Thanks for the replies.
Carry on with the madness.

Ok, time to end this thing. Yes, closing vents up front did the trick, good airflow to the back. Just another example of Porsche still struggling the with things Americans find uber important: A/C and cup holders. Reminds me of my old air cooled 911's, they could never get the AC right in those either.
Cheers

yeah - I can't believe those guys hijacked this thread... ![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
So I also tried this little trick over the weekend, where you close the two main vents in front above the PCM. Worked great in terms of getting air to the back seat finally, but those side vents weren't enough to keep the front cool.
Similarly, if you close the front seat side vents, the door-pillar back seat vents try to puff out a little air.
So is there really no practical way to improve this??
(And, the big star-trek shaped orb on the actual dash, above the front vents - I always thought this was a weird speaker, but it's got a dial like it's controlling air - and man it was cold. Is this also a massive duct for the a/c?)
