Default Steering wheel without multifunction buttons?

I saw a picture of a 2004 CS that is for sale locally. The steering wheel does not have the multifunction buttons on either side (the buttons that control the radio volume and channel).

I've never seen a wheel without that before. Was that an "option", or did someone remove the buttons?

Lupo,

Yes, exactly like in those pictures you linked to! So those buttons are in fact optional.

I'm intrigued - think I'll try to have a look at the car and see what's on the option sticker.

Thanks!
