KPH Speedo?
Hello, new (used) Cayenne owner here. Simple Q, why does my 2005 have a KPH analog speedo? It wasn't in Canada at all... I have seen avatars with it installed but I've also seen a MPH units too.
I ran a search here but it didn't come-up with anything for me.

WP1AA29P55LA22741. I was under the impression this vehicle was shipped to USA and sold in CA. Thanks for checking-up in this

By "CA", I assume you mean California and not Canada...
They use Kilometers per hour in Canada. This seems like a logical answer to your simple enough question. Are you really sure it wasn't in Canada? Does it have DRLs enabled? These are also required in Canada and it might provide a clue.

This is one heavy loaded P!G. : )
This car is a US car and has as std the option code IU5C - instrument insert MPH indication USA.
Apparently someone changed it along the way, perhaps the original one failed..

Right, thanks for that info on the meter face. No reason for one to change units upon meter failure unless they are fascinated with metric system.

^Yes, it's been in one place since arriving in USA. And, I meant no to the Chop Shop suggestion. I've been all over this vehicle and the mechanic has too. No sign of weirdness other than this.
