Guys, my '09 GTS is the post facelift model with the LED front parking lights below the headlights, in the "grille". At least I believe they're LED....

Anyway, I know the dealer can do some crazy stuff with programming. Can they program these parking lights to always be on when the ignition is on, so they can be DRL's?

Yes, the parking lights are LED's
Yes, they can be programmed to stay on w/ignition
No, the dealer is not required to program as this procedure can be done by you via the stalk-mounted bttons and dash display

I tried enabling the DRL's via the dash menus once, but all it turned on were the front side markers and a light in the lower tail lights. Has anybody else had a similar or different experience?

My 2009 GTS is a US-spec car and when enabling the DRL's via the instrument cluster, the front LED markers below the headlights light-up.

Okay, I tried it again this morning. Enabling DRL turns on the LED's, headlights, and the side markers, and a rear light.
I think last time I tried it, I did not have the engine running.

my CDN spec does what you are talking about.

Well, tried it, but it turned on the headlights too, which I don't want.
What's this someone said about doing it with the engine running?
