Default Going rate for a CPO 2008 Cayenne S?

I'm a new poster (former 911sc owner) in the market for a used Cayenne. I think I've narrowed my search to a CPO 2008 Cayenne S. I'm curious as to whether anyone has purchased a CPO 2008 Cayenne S lately, and what you paid. It seems like some earlier posters have said you should be able to pick one up with decent miles (e.g 40k-50k) in the mid to upper 30's, however, most of the listings I'm seeing are in the mid 40's. Do the dealers negotiate that much? I'm in Houston if it matters. Thanks in advance for any advice.

used car prices are staying pretty high. They all will come down. The longer the car has been on the lot the more they will move. I picked mine up and they came down on price and I paid $1,000 for CPO. Since delivery: drive shaft and transmission valve.

CPO for $1K is a great deal. Looks like it already paid for itself.

I bought mine in Aug 2010, so almost a year ago.

Mine was loaded with full leather, Air suspension, PDCC, PCM 2.1. Those options were the big ones and it's hard to find an "S" with Air suspension ($3000 option), not to mention PDCC as well at $3500 factory option. I think full leather was anouthr $3500.

Anyway mine was CPO with 20k miles and asking price was $61k. I paid $51k.

Remember, this was a year ago, an 08 was newer, low miles, and the new Cayenne hadn't really hit showroom floors yet.

Good luck with your search.

Ummm... not sure that's exactly what you meant to say. My '06 doesn't have a ****ter..

I would suggest you start a new thread with a subject title reflecting what you're looking for help on. Not everyone would expect to find a plea for help in a thread about the price on an '08 Cayenne..
