Default Running hot & Leaking water

Hey everybody,

I'm new to this forum! I recently purchased an '05 Cayenne S with 65K on it. It's in immaculate condition, the only thing is it's running a bit hot. Over half way on the temp gauge, but doesn't quite get as high as the 3/4th's mark. People have been telling me that it's normal for a porsche to run a bit hot, but that's not comforting me haha. I noticed around the back of the front driver side tire there was some water leaking from above. Is this something I shouldn't be worrying about?

Sounds normal.

If you start smelling or seeing coolant then worry. P!gs leak LOTS of water under normal operation from the ac system. I believe the drains are near where you described.

ac condensation typically drains near front passenger tire, and coolant should have color to it. I am not sure what would leak clear from the front drivers side.

Other side for left-hand drive models. I imagine the RHD ones might have a drain near the drivers wheel if they didn't move the AC evaporator.
