Default New to me 04 S.

I know, I put a picture on so I would not get lambasted.

I've been on rennlist for years, lots of 951s in my past. Currently race a 944Spec car. Also had a couple of 911s. Need to change my avatar.

Anyway, pretty excited about picking up my S in Dallas this friday and driving it home to Denver. I was able to afford it because the Wagoneer I bought for $2,500 sold on eBay for $11,000!

This should tow a bit quicker than the Waggy. And that is my question. Anyone flat tow a car with their Cayenne?

The S is pretty basic which is what I wanted. No air suspension. No NAV. No heated seats. I think only options are turbo wheels, sunroof and soft-look leather.

Oh, and I know all about the 3 Cs - coils, cardans and coolant pipes. Cardan is replaced. Coils are new version. And coolant pipes I will do. Just ordered on-sale kit from porscheoemparts.com

Congratulations! Wagoneer reminds me of a funny article by Ezra Dyer in Automobile mag . . . http://blogs.automobilemag.com/dyer-...-hot-1296.html

Welcome! 3Zero3 Motorsports in Denver will do the coolant pipes for you for a somewhat reasonable price.

You'll enjoy your S in the mountains.

Looks like you bought your Cayenne at Park Place.

Had I known you were selling the Woody, I would have traded you my Cayenne!

PS: There is a nice Kenny Roberts RZ-350 for sale in Lubbock. Why not swing through and pick it up

I will miss the Waggy. Love the article. I worked at Silvia beach(where they filmed Jaws on Martha's Vineyard) for a few summers(poor college kid, not rich vacationing kid) and even back in the 90s these things crawled all over the islands. They are almost too cool now.

Especially mine which had the raddest plaid headliner I put in. I swear Hilfiger copied me.

Correct, the P-car is at Park Place.

If you need help getting around Dallas when you get here, let me know. Any guy who likes FSJs and RZs can't be too bad
