Can anyone identify this loose cable under my seat?
I have an '05 Cayenne S. There is a loose cable under the front passenger seat. Does anyone know what it is for?
My airbag dash light went off shortly after the dealer messed with the car doing a TSB dealing with the airbags. it never had a problem prior to that. I was wondering if maybe they unplugged a cable or left it loose and it fell out? The only other two things I can think of is maybe a pigtail for a phone connection or for heated seats which I don't have. Hopefully someone can identify it.
Thanks!

+1 to what Riley said. SRS wiring and components are usually yellow in color.
A multi-pin connector like that most probably attaches to the electric seat controls.
In my wife's Benz, the wire loom hangs low and gets knocked off by tall passengers' feet who are sitting behind and stretch their legs.

It's an 05 Cayenne S with all options except phone and seat heaters. Everything in the vehicle works. The only issue with it is the Airbag dash light is on. That lead me to look around and I spotted the cable. Sounds like many people have had issues with the airbags in the Cayenne. I was hoping maybe it was something as simple as a loose cable.

Certainly be worth unbolting the seat and tipping it back to look for an empty connector. Since it's the passenger seat - there is the weight detector in the seat for the airbag system, so the symptom of the dash light being on is sorta a clue that all is not well..
