Default Pulled the Trigger on 04 CT

I have been looking for quite a while for a Cayenne (thanks for reminding Cole ).

I posted a little over a week ago if it was a good deal.

Here was the pricing so people can get a reference

$36700 for the '04 CT.
22k miles. CPO. Coolant pipe update included in price (had original pipes which arent leaking yet but I wanted them changed). 4 zone climate (I really liked this). Titanium with gray-two tone interior. After I made the deal, the service dept refused to sign off the CPO paperwork without new brakes. The dealer included new brakes (discs and rotors) for the same price.

The only bad thing. The car was used in Vail and only had Pirrelli winter tires. I must come up with a set of summer tires in the near future.

Overall, I paid a premium for this one. I had wanted an '05 or '06 but most had many more miles. Finding a 22K unit in the color i wanted was hard and even harder to find CPO at a decent price. I decided low miles and CPO was more important than model year.

The only thing I wanted that I didn't get on the Cayenne was the Advanced off-road package (locking rear diff). But looking at Cayennes, it seems only 8 were were imported into the USA throughout the entire lifespan of the Cayenne with the locking rear diff. So waiting for one of these to show up with low miles/right price/right color/CPO is like winning the lotto. Maybe the locking rear diff can be added?

I have already noticed that it cannot carry more than my 951. I don't get it why such a big car has to make 4 trips to the grocery store to pick up 4 items...

I can't tell anyone, but I plan on using this thing for car camping too...

Basically, what I used my Grand Cherokee for, this will be used for. I bet I will even use "reduction".

You are not trying hard enough. I hlso have a 951. In addition to the pictures below, I have had a couch in the CTT, lumbar on top and all sorts of other things.

Nice garage Dennis.

I get the feeling that Dana's probably looks very similar too.

....and thank you.

Did not want to totally over run Dana's thread. Sounds like he now has a fun ride. Would love to see some pictures of it posted.
