Default continental extremecontact dws - backorder

I need to get a new set of tires for the PIG and the Conti extreme DWS's are sold out and on back order.

Has anyone heard when they will be available.

There seems to be very good feedback on these tires and I have gone through the usual suspects. Any other options out there.

Yes, I've read a few reports saying the DWS' are very good tires.
I'm still quite happy with my Yoko Parada Spec X's if you can't locate the DWS' though.

I do not know when they will be available but I have them on my 19"s and they are an excellent A/S tire.

Did you call tire rack? They found me a set even though it said no stock on their site.

I have nothing but good things to say about my Yokohama Parada's. I've driven them through a foot of fresh snow and taken them on an autocross track. They perform great and have little wear after 15k miles.

jaholmes - I just recently got some Extreme Contact DW's installed for my wife's Infiniti G35 Coupe. The tires have been great so far but, the manager did say that he may have a hard time finding them (though he did find them in a day).

The reason I'm writing is that I see you're in the Chicago area, as I am. The place I went to is DuPage Tire and Auto. Maybe David there could help you out.

Thanks for the leads everyone.

I will give Dupage Tire a call. I'm in the west suburbs so Lombard isn't that far from me.

I will give Tire Rack a call as a backup.

No luck with Dupage tire. It sounds like these tires in the Cayenne size - 255/55/18 XL - are on national backorder until June.

I will just put the old summer tires back on for a month or so until they are available.

The 275/45-19 are in stock. Ordered 4 yesterday, they are supposed to be in tomorrow.. (tire place called and confirmed with their supplier.)
