I know this sounds ridiculous but my brand new 2011 Cayenne S lurched violently , not once but twice today when I took my foot off the brake from a complete and level standstill. I know it sounds crazy, but I am going to the dealer, but what do I have them check?

Both times auto start/stop was on and I do need to fill up the gas tank, but c'mon..

After the first time, I thought the gas pedal got stuck, but not a second time!

today I was in a near accident because my Accelerator got stuck causing me to almost hit the car in front of me at a stoplight. I had to jump on the brake to make it stop. When I would release the brake? My 2011 Porsche Cayenne S would accelerate. Even when I was in park. I had to turn off my vehicle and have a police escort me off onto the side of the road. Towed and awaiting diagnostic. Scared me so much...

Clean your throttle body (TB) and make sure your TPS is reading properly. Basically make sure the DBW (drive by wire) system is in good shape.

This is completely insane. The same thing happened to me today with my Porsche Macan. I was in a parking lot parking and it suddenly accelerated out of nowhere - it ended up stopping on a tree/between a fire hydrant. The damage is huge I have no clue if they're going to be able to fix that. The towing people also caused more damage getting the car out because it was stuck between a tree and fire hydrant and they can't remove either. I am completely mind boggled I did not expect this from Porsche. If there were people around this would be a disaster; I don't even want to think about that.

I got into the most bizarre accident today. I drive a Porsche Macan 2018 and as I was in a parking in an empty lot and it SUDDENLY accelerated out of nowhere - it went insane. I wasn't able to stop it- it ended up stopping on a tree. The damage to the front and the sides of the car is huge and I have no clue if they're going to be able to fix that. The towing people also caused more damage getting the car out because it was stuck between a tree and fire hydrant and they obviously can't move either. I am completely mind boggled I did not expect this from Porsche. If there were people around this would be a disaster; I don't even want to think about that. If anyone has had similar problems please reply. I feel like some clarity would help as to what/why that happened but it is NOT OK.
