Yikes,so glad I did not order ACC on my CT
Having some program suddenly take over and decide how much to brake,without running it by me first,scares me in a 'skynet' kind of way
Yes,CC on a long boring highway drive is pleasant..but thats about it

To each his/her own, but after driving cars with ACC (BMW and Porsche) and a bunch of cars that don't - I can't imagine engaging cruse control and *not* having it. I use ACC to avoid dealings with our local constabulary on roads that are well patrolled, boring, and where you just want to get from A to B without a fuss. For that it works very well even if there is light traffic. Without the "adaptive" part, you just can't.
