Default 2008 Cayenne S

Can anyone let me know whether the 2008 Cayenne S suffer the Collant Pipe problem as those pre 2008? Did Porsche switch the collant pipe to aluminum in 2008?

SHould there be anything I should look for when purchase the 2nd generation Cayenne S.

Thanks in advance!

Coolant pipes on 2008-2010 4.8 liter V8 engined models have re-designed coolant pipes which are still made of plastic. So far, I have not heard of any failures with these pipes.

The aluminum pipes were introduced simply as a service remedy to the leaking pre-2008 4.5 liter V8 engines.

I guess there are conflicting reports on that as I read somewhere they are aluminum on the '08+.
