The rumor I heard is that the "backed up due to snow" excuse is really because PCNA got sideways with the powers that be at the ports, and now the dealers have to arrange and pay for their own shipping and then get reimbursed the $700(?) by PCNA.

Just a rumor, ahem...

Don't know where between there and here my "S" is but I was in San Antonio today and stopped by the dealer. He had my " Production complete" printout and the VIN. I would expect Monday the computer will have an update. I am expecting around the first of the month for it to hit the port of Houston. This old guy is getting excited.

heard that before, i used to bring wheels from japan thru long beach and the people would strike and demand more money and all our stuff would sit there until everyone chipped in more money... it would happen like every other month.

hopefully he realizes it's sarcasm before he reports me to homeland security..

what i was saying is yours was built 2 weeks prior to mine, but ordered after mine... which is why i'm upset about all the build dates and such.. how they just bump them at will..

i do think the v6's got pushed back due to them being cheaper....

everyone i know that ordered a v6 has been bumped not just weeks but months... whereas everyone with a v8/turbo has been only bumped maybe a few weeks if at all..

i understand it however, probably have a larger % of profit built into them and with the weak dollar are sick and tired of making no money when they could just send the trucks elsewhere.

For those interested. The Athens Highway is 7 hours from the port of Houston steaming at a blistering 16.9 knots. No matter just get my Cayenne unloaded and to San Antonio.
