Default '06 Turbo S Misfire Issue

A friend is trying to sort out a misfire issue on a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S. He says all eight cylinders randomly misfire at above .2 bar. Any suggestions appreciated.

Plugs are shot?

I don't have the issue on my turbo S but I've had that issue on a previous car and when I pulled out the plugs during the diagnosis process they were fried.

Might be a starting point.

My guess is that he needs new coil packs.

Any CEL ?
Is it a misfire or pre-ignition?

The intake manifold has been replaced, due to warpage. There were several vacuum leaks too. Before that the car was misfiring at idle, now it's only at .2 bar which at that point it goes into limp mode. All eight plugs new and 5 of 8 coils are new. The guy working on the car is starting to suspect it's not getting enough fuel. He's going to have access to an '08 Turbo today and is hoping to be able to swap some parts to eliminate a few possibilities. Right now we're just not too sure what's compatible between the two cars.
