I'd suggest you search for following keywords:
Coils
Coolant pipes
Cardan shaft
Have a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done by a reputable shop that is familiar with these cars. That's the best insurance you can get. Check out the old service records and get a print out of previous maintenance and warranty work performed at the Porsche dealer. With that information you'll have a good picture of previous issues and will be able to make an informed decision.
What you will find is that most people will post their problems on this board rather than stating how well these cars perform so you get the impression that these cars simply implode when they reach over 100k miles.

I've been driving mine, now 130,000KM and the torque seal on my transmission is starting to leak. aside from a few minor electrical gremlins, the car has been bullet proof and it's my off-road buggy/winter car. Proper maintenance and they'll go forever, I have no intention on replacing my car as i drove a Lexus upto 300,000KM, so i feel i should be able to do the same on a porsche.
