Default Cayenne in Heavy Rain

I have an 06 Cayenne S. Wondering how users drive in heavy rain with their Cayennes... just normal with PSM on? Turn on on road high range with the rocker switch? I've never used it, does anyone use it for heavy rain? Is there a speed limit for its use?

thanks to all.

That setting is for off road, drive it like you normally would in heavy rain.

We just got our first good shellacking of rain in Northern California (not the Midwest, granted), and I could barely tell the roads were wet - aside from the panic on every driver's face. California drivers at their finest.

Brakes (OEM) and Tires (Conti DWSs) didn't even blink. Only irritation was the wipers not keeping up/smearing on the driver's side. So I drive mine the same as always: Sport shocks, Low suspension, and PSM Off.

But I'm guessing that if you need to use the Special Terrain super-high setting, you're getting a lot more rain than we are...

I just typed up and erased a few replies. Marc would have surely told me how "mean" I am to "newbies". I'm going to grab some and see where this goes.

Wow ....

Common sense won't be listed in the owners' manual
