Cayenne in Heavy Rain

Low range is like a low gear in a bike. locking the diff keeps your wheels moving at the same time, so when you turn it makes your car jump. none of this will help in the rain. It's for when you get stuck in the mud or if you need to haul a boat off a slippery launch, really that's about it. Rain has nothing to do with your transmission but your driving style tyres etc.

On our old Diamaris the Pepper TT was very unpredictable and stepped sideways more than once in HEAVY rain. Since putting the Yoko Parada's on, it's been excellent in heavy rain and also in moderate snow.

My Diamaris were the original tires on the 20" rims and they were not completely worn out but they were >50% worn when I noticed some scary handling in heavy rain. I replaced them at around 13k miles with the Yoko Parada's.
