Default headlights help

hi, this is my first posting.
so my wife just bought the new cayenne s. She bought it when i was out of the country, and she bought one without xenon, which is a must for me. She bought the car off the lot and the ones with xenon came with options that we didn't really need. so my question is it possible to install aftermarket xenons, and how much would they cost???The dealer already told me that the original adaptive xenons would cost us way too much, so not really worth it, and i don't need adaptive headlights anyway.
Thanks for all your input!

If you do a search, you'll find previous postings on the subject of retrofitting factory units onto the '05-'10 models; which is pretty much impossible. However, there are aftermarket kits that have been successfully installed and I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before they introduce a unit for the '11 models.

I think they will have a decent solution soon. I live in the US, but I ordered a set of these for my old MB from the UK. They work great for the time being. http://www.powerbulbs.com/bulb_finde..._id=271&bulb=1 the extreme vision H7.
I also use them for my high beam bulbs.

since we're somewhat on the topic. regarding the base 2011 cayenne, does it come with halogen headlights through a projector housing OR are they regular xenon's with the upgrade being the pdls that has cornering lights, etc?
i cannot seem to put it together that porsche would sell a halogen light for that price point.

(btw, yes, noob, own a e46 m3 and considering the 2011 CS)

The halogens are standard on the Cayenne, S, and S Hybrid. The next step up are the Bi-Xenons with PDLS. These are optional on the models I already mentioned and standard on the Turbo. AFAIK, there is no Bi-Xenon without PDLS for the 2011 vehicles.
