Got some shuddering under acceleration today on the 04 CTT. Pulled the codes and it read cylinder 1 and cylinder3 misfire, and a communication error (no reading) from the cylinder 3 fuel injector. Strange thing is that I changed out all the coil packs and plugs 3 months ago with new units.

Anyways, just hoping that maybe I just replace just the cylinder 1 and 3 plugs/coils. Anyone know which ones are cylinder 1 and 3 in a V8?

I thought back passenger side was #1, front passenger #4, front driver #5, and back driver #8. Can anyone confirm?

I think the conventional wisdom would be to replace them all at the same time.
