The cop in my case, who couldn't have been nicer, said that if your going to pass going 90 just make sure you do it on the left and not on the right side...

Honestly, that part of the thruway...East of Syracuse...is perfectly flat and straight and very few cars... I had no idea I was going that fast

These are the wheels I would have ordered. Nice upgrade in size without hitting the $5k mark. If I don't have the room rack, am I screwed if need to put stuff up there?

Just noticed that today. Didn't see any way to attach a roof rack like on my cayman. We still don't go to Tahoe regularly or I would have looked into that more. Let this be a lesson!

I believe you had a tow hitch on yours, Thule or Yakima makes a rack that connects to the tow hitch... just a thought as an alternative.

Rome, awesome bud, enjoy! My build is very similar to yours, I remember you gave me great amount of advice while ordering back in August. I am awaiting for mine, I got a letter from the dealer and maybe it will be this coming week.

Got mine about 2 weeks ago, love it! Black/black Cayenne S. Will put up pictures soon. One question - did you guys get any kind of cables with the car to connect an iPhone/iPod? Curious if that comes with the car or one has to buy?

Thanks.

Now I am thinking of the markers. I agree with you on the heated windscreen. Keep your eyes peeled for me in the Boston area this week...
