Thanks everyone for the kind words...

BTW, I totally forgot to mention that in a last hurrah, I got a ticket going 90 in the 'old gal' on the NYS Thruway on Sunday... Somehow, I didn't mind so much.

I pass my yearly vehicle inspection without issues with the silverstar bulbs, which I believe are DOT legal

NY and MA have reciprocity...so yes...and, it's supposed ot be 6 points because of the high speed...

But, I know a good lawyer who I think will be able to get me off the hook using "the pig made me do it" defense....

Good to know, if I ever need to drive up to MA

My one & only speeding ticket happened in MD, so I got no points. I will never forget the "genius" that was the first thing that came out of the officer's mouth, "Did you NOT see me standing here while you were speeding?" "Of coures I saw you, officer. That was the whole reason behind speeding!"
