I got my letter today. It was originally sent to my old address and then forwarded - I guess I forgot to change it with PCNA.
I have all the documentation requested. Mine were changed on November 25, 2009 at 59,050 miles to the updated coils with part number 948-602-104-05. It looks like it was $177.30 for the labor and 156.32 for 8 new coils, bringing my total to $333.62.
I'm sending it in as a claim, as directed in the letter.

just want to see whether anyone has received any response from PCNA. I sent in all the required documents early Nov and yet my information has not yet turned up in the system. According to the customer rep from PCNA, there is only one person in the corporation is currently handling this and he or she is still working on the early Oct submissions.

Wow this is good news. My coil replacement bill was north of $500 from the dealer. Im not the original owner though, and I havent even gotten a letter yet. How do I get one, or how should I submit?

While i was at the dealer in Orlando a lady came in complaining that the CS was running like crap. They took it back to look at it, came back and said it needed coils and that it would be just over $900! The lady was pissed. I felt like telling her about this issue but decided to stay out of it. I couldn't believe it. From her reaction that lady will never buy another Porsche.

Just to make sure none of you have issues with getting your coil reimbursement, some of the shady dealers will tell you what was wrong with your Cayenne ..but... ontop of the invoice will write" Customer requests" when they replace the part. Make sure they eliminate that and pull the codes or the errors and write faulty coils causing vehicle to run rough or after visual inspection found coils cracked and faulty, less back and forth with the mother ship.

Gentlemen, I just bought my ignition coils to replace on my CT-04 from my Porsche Dealership. These coils were supposed to be part no: 948-602-104-08 the latest coils. However when I opened the box the coils were 948-602-104-07 embossed on the part. After research my dealer finds that all his "-08' Coils are really "-07"s. Interestingly enough there is a warranty issue with the "-07" coils as they don't last long. My dealer contacted Porsche and it turns out they are trying to ship the old parts but charging for the new ones to getrid of old inventory. Just an FYI

Well, I got my response letter from PCNA today on the coil extended warranty claim I filed just under four months ago. And the good news is they decided I'm entitled to a reimbursement!
They didn't send a check just yet; they are "processing" that and said I should allow a few more weeks to receive payment. But considering my out of pocket expenses occurred almost two years ago I'm not going to cry over the length of time processing the claim; I'll just give them props for coming through on this in the end.

If I hadn't been sitting right there less than 10 ft. from the conversation I probably wouldn't have believed it either. I suspect, since the lady's husband bought the Pepper used (it was an '06 IIRC), there was no record of the original coils being replaced so it falls through the cracks of being a reimbursable expense anyhow.
Still, reimbursable or not, that kind of $$$ for new coils was excessive IMHO. Fortunately, I was there for warranty work.

You guys are awesome! I have a problem that sounds just like the ignition coil issue and forgot that I received a letter a few months back for free warranty replacement. Thanks for the reminder!!
