Default advice on loss of performance on 4.8 turbo

seems to lose boost at the top end, after 5000rpm ot goes down to .4 bar still seems as quick to 100mph but after that seems to struggle,,

where it used to pull 160 easy seems to struggle to get over 140?

anyone got any ideas?

i'm sure if i took it to porsche they would say its fine as they couldn't perform such test!

thanks andrew

have you noticed longer cranking times than usual before actually starting? the reason I asked is that I had GTS had the same problem, hesitation at higher rpms..it turns out to be the HPFP

not notice longer cranking but will look for that now, also when you cruise around 60 mph it gives a wee missfire now and then, i put that down to plugs as its done about 43k miles on the original set
