In Russian there is a saying, that translates to "Only a Gipsy steps on the rake twice." Not sure why Gipsy and not anyone else, so dont ask. However, I loved to drive it, when it was not in the shop (half the time). 04 CS in Lapis Blue on full grey sport seats , PASM, Air Susp, Variable steering, Nav, 19"Turbo rims, rear heated seats, etc, etc.. Fully loaded, imo.
For a while I waited till Porsche sorts the car out. By the time I was ready again (GTS was just announced) spy photos of the new one started showing up on the net.
Q7 is BIG. Not as big as the Denalli before it, but you get it.
By the time Porsche sorts out all the bugs with the new one, my lease will be up (2 1/2 years). Perfect reason to special order a loaded to the **** CSH in Umber over Umber/Cream and wood for the wifes B-Day.

A truck, a coupe and a roadster.

You made me look that up.
This is what I learned so far: Kooser posted a pic/vid of his Cargrafic exhaust that had to be removed for same reason that he is no longer with us. Not sure what that reason was, but know that his wife was involved and posiibly other women. So, can someone fill in the blanks for me, please.

And you made me look up the Russian saying. While I'm very familiar with "a smart person doesn't step on the same rake twice" I've never heard the mentioning of gypsies. Googled it for a few minutes and still couldn't find it. So, feel free to pm the source, since I've always been under an impression that my Russian is pretty good.

Kooser got an exhaust that was too loud for his wife. A key to a happy marriage is keeping The Wife happy. A certain Chris Rock passage "on marriage" pops into mind, but I digress.

The exhaust got removed.

I believe that Kooser's urologist would testify that more than his exhaust was removed...

I think Larry's Cayenne ownership experience ended better

I just found that now epic thread and it's very appropriately titled "Wife won - Exhaust gone". Was there ever a "Exhaust Won - Wife Gone" thread, I wonder?

If there ever was one, it would be on the CGT forum.

It's interesting that guys sometimes don't fully understand the the high (true) cost of certain things. Kinda gets figured out with age

What happened to Kooser's CTT? I purchased his Cargraphic muffler...love it. I definitely owe him one for that.

Didn't read the whole thread before the previous post....Yes I should really thank the wife...she made him remove it...mine is trying to get he to sell the whole enchilada calling it a "hunk of junk"...women just don't understand. I get compliments on a regular basis regarding the sound of my CTT because of that muffler...

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread....Welcome aboard! You're gonna love ownership if you are OK with several trips a year for maintenance issues....post some pics when you get a chance!

Yep, her decision. She should've made your Christmas card list.
