Default Luggage net

I just got a '06 Cayenne S Titanium Edition, the previous owner had a luggage net instead of a cargo cover. I bought a cargo cover and I don't need the luggage net. Its black and essentially new- $100 plus shipping. Ed M

Holy cow. Are you talking about the cargo divider net or the luggage net?

Luggage nets are selling for $65 new on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-P...s#ht_823wt_936

Cargo divider net that pulls up and attaches to the roof. New at Hennessey is $235. Ed M

My first 'mod' was removing that. I knew I'd never use it and it weighs a ton.
(Yes, Lewis, I know. I was 'adding lightness')

It does weigh "a ton"' but I don't know how much difference 22 lbs. would make in a 5500 lbs. car.

Default Might want to reconsider letting it go.

You may want to consider the net a safety item.
If you ever have rear passengers its a good way to protect them from flying items in the event of a sudden stop.
It gives me peace of mind when I have the family in the truck and luggage in the rear.
The cargo cover limits the height of items carried.

FWIW I actually passed up purchasing a couple of Cayennes because they did not have this piece.

I use it for my dogs and was not going to go through the hassle of tracking one down when they all came with them.

My CTT have both the cargo cover and the net. Both are standard equipment, isn't it? I did have to purchase a luggage net to keep the small stuff from rolling.
