Technical link on V8 development?
I am looking for a good read on the development of the 'original' Porsche V8 engine released in the Pig (pre DFI).
Anyone have a link to a well written, technical article?
I can only seem to find blurbs and casual info about the engine.
Preferably, post 928 era references.

The PAG publication on the entire Cayenne development & launch titled, "Porsche Cayenne" is a great reference.
Chapter 10 on page 98 exclusively speaks about the V8 engine, it's development, testing & manufacturing. There are good exploded-view pictures of the engine and other related components.
I picked up this hardcover book for about $20 from www.Amazon.com
