Corniche- 7500 miles , no squealing, not going to have the car past January 2011 so who cares about rotor life. Going to get a 2011 Cayenne Turbo ..with ceramics. The things we do to save on taxes in the USA.

anyone know why you can option PCCB with the Cayenne S but not the Turbo in Porsche configurator? I'm being told that PCCB is not available to be ordered yet on the Turbo- verifying with other sources if this is tru but in the meantime anyone knows what the story is?

i had a 2004 Cayenne and now have a 2011 Turbo with standard brakes. I beleive they are the same config. but the 11's brakes feel much better and stop the TT on a dime. the new cayenne is much lighter so you have to take this into consideration. The standard brakes are above and beyond competitor brakes so i honestly think PCCB is overkill. But if i had $7k to burn, i would get them too

I had a 997tts which is a pretty fast car...with ceramics that are just as quick and efficient to slow it down.It gave me much confidence to know i could depend on my breaks no matter how fast I was going and break at the last minute
Naturally I ordered them on my CT
I am sure I will get plenty of use out of them on the Autobahn

You can afford a $120k SUV but can't spend the extra 7k? Come on bud. ![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)
In all seriousness, I gave them serious consideration on my CT but they really did seem like overkill on the new beast. Ultimately decided against them because of replacement costs and the fact that I flag my 911 when I want to have fun and mostly will use the CT for lugging stuff around. But oh what fun it is to lug stuff around.
