Default Getting '11 Cayenne S - Deposit down

Just put downpayment on Cayenne arriving in next few weeks.

Black / Beige
19" S II wheels
Nav
XM
Xenon with PDLS
Backup camera
Few other smaller items.

Will be getting out of my '08 V6 lease early. Since I sat in the new car, I absolutely hate my current interior. It aged 10 years in a matter of minutes.

Congrats! Any chance it has PTV+? Did a bit of track time this past weekend with the new Cayenne and the PTV+ really tightens up the handling. Gotta agree, the new interior makes the "old" car seem very dated.

I'm re-thinking this on my order because everyone is raving about it.

if I order today, my must haves would be PVT, thermally insulated glass and the Burmester. That's for the s. Congrats on your order and upcoming delivery!

^^^
PCNA is running a special program for people with less than 6 months left on lease. Waive some fees, and pick up 3 months of payments.

Not a surprise given the Cayenne sales numbers vs production estimates.

The new cayenne is not selling well? Haven't really seen any numbers on how the 2011's launch is going, curious if anyone has any insight on this.

IIRC, down 40% or so.
The 2011 is a launch, so the first units are automatically "sold" to the dealers...

My sense is that Porscheis severly limiting allocations. The dealer I bought my current car from only has 4 build spots through December. In part this is to increase demand in a soft market, but it is also because there are lots of Pans which are sitting and Porsche wants them to move before opening more cayenne allocations...don't want both sitting. Dealer is offer 10% off on almost every Pan in the inventory to move them out and get Cayenne allocations increased.

The last few months there haven't been any cars to sell, so while there is a decline in sales, the driver is no inventory more than lack of demand.
