Could high altitude cause air suspension warnings...

If it becomes a recurrent problem, consider trying this solution:

Would like to avoid going to the VW dealer if I can.

I think you may need to head over to the VW dealer for the Piston Ring Repair Kit:

It may also be part 7L0 (zero instead of "O"?) 698 030.

I see this thread has re-started. See my post (#8, above) and here is the update: I still get the warning very intermittently. I am almost afraid to mention it because it has probably been a couple of months since I have seen it. On 12-21-10 the tech was able to finally get a fault code and here is his note: "C/S Air Suspension Warning Light is On. Level Fault #1772 Pressure Sensor Signal. Estimate: $1107.31."
In his words it is the sensor that has gone bad, not the pump, but it is a major deal to get to the sensor to replace it. Needless to say, I have not had it replaced.
This will raise an issue when I sell or trade the car in a year or two but I'll deal with it then.

Hi,
I have problem with my front right airsuspension (Cayenne 2003). When I turn of the car the front right side of the car go's to a lower level then the other tires. Once I start the car, the front right side of the airsuspension go's again up and is on the same height us the other tires. I get also from time to time the notification of airsuspension on the board computer.
Does anyone know what the cause could be of this failure?
