Uh, this will be hard but limit the wheel size to 19 or 20. You can thank me later. dave

care to elaborate? I was thinking of ordering the 21" rims as well or if the 20's run better, I'll think I'll look at champion wheels or hre's. Thanks!

If you are referring to a harsher ride, think again. I thought the same way you did up until I got my GTS. With the normal or comfort suspension setting, it rides very well with little or no bounce. You'd never expect a 21" tire to behave in this manner. In addition, Montreal's roads have peaked this year at being the worse ever.

Now, on the other hand if you were referring to the cost of a single typical 295/35-21 Porsche N-O approved tire @ $550+ as well as a maximum service life of 18K miles......I agree with you 100%.

Looks wise, I think the 21" sport design speaks for itself....

I was hoping he was commenting about tire wear. My last Cayenne S had 18's and Pirelli's that wore out at 10k replaced by Michelin latitudes. I was hoping to get at least that or more on 21's. I have driven the GTS and the ride was great. The turbo I am ordering, jet black/black, is going to have the 21 inch sport design wheels! Since it will be my only vehicle, I factored in the price of paying the extra vehicle, gas, tires, maintenance, etc., the price of 4 tires a year is not bad!

Since winter tires are mandatory up here, the 6-month winter period helps soften the blow of changing out $2K worth of 21" summer tires in a 'would-be' 12-month period!

Thankfully, you guys doiwn in SC don't have to worry about that!
