Default Washer nozels

Yeah, I am seeing all the new things on the 2010 and thinking what I would like to change on my 2005!

So I noticed the nozzles spray 3 streams instead of one fat one, and it works much better, anyone think of retrofitting these?

Default Upgraded spray nozzle part number

An easy modification. The revised / superseded part number is 955 628 077 03 (was -02); available from Sunset for less than $20.00 each.

First I find it hard to believe that anyone actually started a post about modding washer nozzles;
then I find it even harder to believe that somone who's done it already chimes right in with an answer;

and finally I find it even harder to believe that I'm sitting here thinking about modding my washer nozzles!! lol

My bad for jumping on toureg's post so quickly. I can only attribute it to a prolong case of Cayenne Cabin Fever Deficient Disorder (CCFDD) induced by 40 inches of snowfall during the past week. I feel better now.

And you all think I ask silly questions! Heh, so I am not the only one that geeks out and likes the simple things that are different!

Did they upgrade/improve the rear window nozzle too? Most of the washer fluid ends up cleaning the rear hatch area below the glass. Maybe they had designed it that way intentionally to keep the licence plate clean:-)

Just had to replace my front right on my `05 that was leaking (almost called for amber lamps )... drained a whole lot of wipper fluid.

Seems like a straight forward job. 2 plastic covers under hood (bonnet) give access to wiring and water supply. Disconnect same. Destroy old nozzles during removal. feed in tails of new onces, hook up to supplies and then push the nozzle home, replace cover.

I would have done it but dont have camera at work, will do when I have camera to hand
