High Mileage CTT worth it at any cost?

To all,
That picture of the Cayenne Turbo is at least a month old. Just put new tires on her then about 3 weeks later the suspension faulted - turned out that a new battery (we had the original one in there) and a replacement suspension control module was all it needed - back to running fine again.
My 2003 996 Turbo has 242,000+ miles on the ticker and still running strong.
T2....continues to knock on wood!!

I like to hear stories of high mileage P-cars. There are many many high mileage 928's around! Good to know there's potential for the newer generation to stay on the road for years to come. My 928 has 110k on it and I plan to drive it another 110k easily.

High Mileage is but a number...
I reluctantly traded in my fully Porsche dealer serviced 2004 CS with 134K miles on it for a similarly serviced newer pristine CPO 2006 CS Titanium Ed. with 29K miles on it.
Given my extensive all season (mostly Interstate Highways) traveling, I felt that it was a necessity. It was close to needing the brakes and rotors, sensors replaced as well as new tires, etc,... It was still running strong and I'm sure had a lot of miles to go on it. I had offered it to my son, but the insurance and maintenance costs were understandedly a bit too much for him (I hated to see her go).
They are great dependable vehicles and the CTT is a dream. If I had the extra $$$ burning in my pocket I would definitely get one (CTT S esp.).
Good Luck!
