Default Frog sound behind dash

I have a sound, that sounds like a frog or cricket somewhere behind the dash / radio / Climate control.

Ignition must be on, but not necessarily running. Turned off climate control too see if it was a fan noise, no change. Its not repetitive, very random sequence of sounds.
Any ideas?

Fan blower motor would be my guess. The bearing is wearing out. I haven't changed mine, but I understand that it is a relatively simple and inexpensive DIY project.

Default blower

seems to do it well after I turn off blower fans. Unless one runs all the time

Sounds like A/C servo motors to me. They do sound like a frog now that you mention it. Is the car under warranty? If not, you have to decide if spending ohhhh at least $500 plus is worth it to kill that damn frog(s). The servo motors creak/moan... rrrrrribit. A total of 5 frogs can make this noise, drivers side of hvac unit, just above your left leg!

The blower motors are starting to fail as of late, they are more of a chirping noise, and yes they are very easy to change out.

Frog sounds? Behind the dash?

That's normal.

Have they come up with a new bad design fix yet?

We need a few sound clips here to compare the frog noise to the chirping noise. I hear an occasional high-pitched "groan" from behind the dash, which I thought was the servo motors...

Mine is 'crickets' for sure it's a chirp not a croak. Occasionally comes then goes. 2006 model year.

Another possibility is Larry reaching out from beyond the grave and using the center dash speaker to generate these sounds.....just saying.
