Frog sound behind dash

Well, I should admit, ..that I have the same noise !
Yes, a frog in the P!g..
Few more like this one and we may call it Noah instead of P!g !
In the mean time, I think we should eat frog legs, ..until they pass !
Being serious (it is difficult with this one..), this noise seems to happen to mine when the AC is in a low fan position, or even close. (Or, as it is not a loud frog, I may not hear it when the fan is reving higher up.)
I think it is the "servos" of the airflow diverter ..that are frog driven.
May be a German guy at the design team did not understood English completely and mess up when they asked how to do remove fog (inside the windscreen).
If anyone has the solution for this one, I would be very happy to know too, I'm still under the warranty.
(..And I still have the e-brake that need to be released 5 or 6 time before the lamp (and bip) goes off.)

Had this problem in our GTI which turned out to be a flap on the door routing the air. This was fixed under warranty. Also had the same issue on an '03 A4 which I lived with for 2 years until trading the car---that one occurred each time after the car was turned off. I was concerned that it would drain the battery but that never happened.

climate control
All jokes aside, this sound is driving me nuts.
Is there a way of testing, or reseting to see what the problem is?
Could the main climate control be the culprit, or the actuators?
Thanks for the help

I had a talk with service dept. at Rector Porsche last week:
It seems that this is a "classical, well known", but, it also drive them nuts, ..because they have to remove all the dashboard to fix it !
It is the mixing (air) valves of the ac system that talks like frogs.
A big work to do, ..that we should *not* forget to do before the end of the warranty.
(If not under warranty, I think a "solution" could be to get used to set the radio a bit louder !)

Posted in another thread but just found this... sounds like the deal. "Frogger" or "Space Invaders" is what I'd call it.
Special... I wonder how the hell my ML320 could go for 12 years without doing this (or suspension bushings, or drive shafts, or plastic coolant pipes, or...)!

I have a sound, that sounds like a frog or cricket somewhere behind the dash / radio / Climate control.
Ignition must be on, but not necessarily running. Turned off climate control too see if it was a fan noise, no change. Its not repetitive, very random sequence of sounds.
Any ideas?

I started hearing the same noise on my 2006 Cayenne S. Last week, the air stopped blowing through the 2 center vents. Plenty of cold air on the side vents but nothing from the center vents. My Durametric shows AC codes 2101 Servo motor for side blower, 657 Servo motor for central vents, and 1596 Servo motor fresh air / air circulation flap. I don't hear the noise anymore. Seems strange that all 3 of these servos would go out at the same time.
