Default Cayenne Side Light Change out DIY

Got clear side markers for my 08 Cayenne S but found one slight problem. How the heck do you get the lights out of the dayum car! Got the tool and removed the headlights and can figure out how to remove front fogs and turns but NO idea how in the earth to get to the side markers. Dealership service guys says they'll change em out and its a factory job that requires $280 for me to part with to get them changed out....to this point they're still in the box.

Help anyone done it yet??

No, no one here in the P!G pen at anytime in the past 6 years has ever installed a set of clear side markers.....

It's a good thing MadFox isn't here (I miss him), otherwise you would be subjected to

STFF

That having been said, and luckily for you, Larry mentioned this thing called "SEARCH" and it sort of works:

https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...e-markers.html

The complete procedure is available on Loren's site (if you so desire).

It is not as easy as would be the case on a proper Porsche, like a Carrera for example, but it has been done here dozens of times.

Bought a new Boxster and my sales mgr went ahead and offered to swap them out for free (we'll thanks since we just bought a car) when I mentioned it to him that I had them sitting in a box and was going to get a set for the Boxster.
