Default horn stops working---but alarm makes sound

i understand the horns need replacement---fuse is ok--is there any relay---however today the alarm went off----is the alarm wired to the horns or is there a separate horn for the alarm

The alarm uses a different siren/horn from the mains.

Pull the mains and test them with a battery to see if they work. I doubt its a relay as the horns are known to fail.

The horns are positioned in such a way that water gets trapped in them and they subsequently fail. They are fairly inexpensive and relatively easy to change out, on the CS. You can get the horns from Suncoast. Access the failed horn by removing the front wheel and wheelhouse liner. I did both of mine in an hour or so.

I'm about ready to do this. Which wheel? Right or left?

Yep. There are 2 horns; one on each side. If you have zero horn sounds, you'll have to do both.
