The mObridge is in the rear panel, where the CDC would go. Does that help dictate where the fuse would be?

It depends on whether they tapped of an exisiting feed or used the CDC feed, can you see where the wires go ?

I can, but the dealer has my car. I communicated to them to take the fuse out of the mObridge. Hopefully, they can find it, and take it out. Otherwise, I will be buying a new amp and trying to fix the no sound by trial and error.

While I have you, do you have any instructions on how to remove the pieces you have to remove prior to removing the side panel, i.e. C pillar trim, d pillar trim, etc.?

Lacrosse finally ended and I had time to swap out the amplifier. Mudman you were 100% correct with the amp diagnosis. I have sound. Thanks again for your advice and the diagrams. Really wasn't that bad. I do have a bad Bose amp if anyone wants a paperweight.

Why not just fix it and sell it on eBay?

How many times do I need to hit it with the sledgehammer before it will open?

Default help

Hello All, let me apologize first for bringing this thread back from the dead. I am a small repair facility that purchased an 06 cayenne s and I am having issues with the sound or lack there of.

I get the dreaded message:
System Error: Navigation System, Ampliphier, Phone, Satellite Radio not available.

I have purchased an amp, a head unit and a nav dvd player. All known to be good.

I suggest culprit may have been the Nav unit because it would not turn on or open and when I removed it I found corrosion on the bottom and on the motherboard.

But after replacing all these items it still does the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...
