I think that an El Camino actually looks better than that. I say again: Woof.

How long have you been in Barrington? My wife grew up there, and she went to Barrington High School...

Have lived in Barrington for a year. After 15 years in Dallas we decided to move back up to the Chicago area to start a family.

How did your wife like growing up in Barrington? I've heard some people love it and I've heard others call it Boringtown. Seems to have great schools. Did she live here recently?

No, interestingly she left Barrington in the late 80s to move to Dallas! We were married in Dallas (my hometown) and had our kids there. We moved to the midwest in 1999 because of my job. She still has friends and family in Barrington, and we really like it. She enjoyed growing up there, although it was much more rural when she lived there. It was basically horse country. We were just in Barrington last weekend.

Sounds like we've just missed each other coming and going!

We really like it here. We live in Lake Barrington on Flint Lake just northwest of 59 and 22. Still a lot of horse farms. With any luck our son will enjoy growing up here too. (He's due May 11th.)

If you ever come through here and want to take a spin up into Wisconsin through the Chain o Lakes, let me know!

Will do! My wife grew up southwest of you, but not far. She was off of Deepwood road, right off of W County Line Road, a little bit east of E Algonquin Road.

Wow - I can see maybe a Volkswagen version if they really, really feel they need to ad a "Hondaisque Truck" to the portfolio - but Porsche Board Members - what drugs were you guys taking back then during those meetings to come up with that beast?

In My Humble Opinion - A truck should be a Ford, Chevy, Toyota, etc. - but not a Cadillac, Lincoln, PORSCHE, etc....
